Lake Balboa Neighborhood Council is holding a community emergency preparedness meeting Saturday, March 14 in Van Nuys.
Skip Tribble of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the Van Nuys Airport will be the guest speaker. He will discuss some of the emergency preparedness efforts and plans at Van Nuys Airport.
The meeting will cover ways to build relationships between Neighborhood Councils, first responders and businesses in the community. Lake Balboa Neighborhood Council will also display samples of the emergency kits that they will stock in their emergency preparedness bins for the community.
