Committee Meeting Schedules

"The mission of this Committee shall be to interface with and negotiate with public and private schools, the City of Los Angeles, businesses, and developers on matters concerning the education, recreation and general welfare of the youth who reside in or use the facilities located within the boundaries of Lake Balboa."

Goals:

To engage the community in support of advancing the success of the local elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as that of the local colleges and universities. The Lake Balboa Education Committee endeavors to represent the Lake Balboa stakeholders in helping support local schools by enhancing:

• School resources.
• Students’ educational experiences.
• Parental involvement; and/or
• Community partnerships.
