The Grand Opening ribbon was cut on brand new play equipment at Louise Park in Lake Balboa on Thursday, June 30. This play equipment brings a much-needed upgrade to the outdated and worn out play equipment that has been at the park for decades.
The new equipment is accessible for children with disabilities. The concrete perimeter of the old playground sand pit had been broken up by tree roots and posed a safety hazard for children. The concrete was replaced and several other upgrades were made.
We are very proud to have such outstanding recreation facilities, parks and open space in Lake Balboa. They offer our children and families crucial opportunities to enjoy outdoor fun and exercise and social activities.
