Enzo Catanho Pineheiro is an 8th grader at William Mulholland Middle School… He immigrated 3 years ago from Brazil speaking Portuguese and entered Mulholland as a 7th grade student as an English Learner. He is the first Mulholland student to earn the State Pathway to Biliteracy Award which means he is on track to earn the SEAL OF BILITERACY which is awarded to HS students who have attained a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing one or more languages.
