The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close all lanes on a portion of U.S. Highway 101 overnight beginning as soon as 10 pm Saturday, Oct. 1, and ending Sunday, Oct. 2, at 10 am. The full closure, between White Oak Avenue and Balboa Boulevard, will allow crews to safely demolish the pedestrian bridge over U.S. 101 at Encino Ave.
