In an effort to reduce our water usage, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) will pay you to transform your yard. Learn more here. Note–this does NOT mean using astroturf and eliminating all plants, because we need healthy soil and carbon sequestration! (And consider using native plants, which really benefit our ecosystem!)
