The Lake Balboa and Winnetka Neighborhood Councils invite District 3 residents to a Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Board Candidate Debate. This forum is an excellent opportunity to meet the candidates, including incumbent District 3 School Board Member Scott Schmerelson. Other candidates include Dan Chang, Jamie Dam, Andreas Farmakalidis, ByRoN Gutierrez, Richard Ramos, and Raquel Villalta.
The debate will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the Birmingham Community Charter High School Gymnasium, 17000 Haynes St., Lake Balboa, CA 91406. Our moderator will be Ariel Wesler, a reporter from Spectrum 1 News.
