Each year, friends, residents and community members in the West Valley area gather at the West Valley LAPD Community Police station to say “Thank You” to the Men & Women in Blue as well as to WV LAPD Employees and Volunteers for the tireless service that they provide to our West Valley community. While we recognize the bravery, courage, honor and integrity shown by our West Valley staff and Officers every day, there is one day each year that we set aside for members of our community to show how much we value their daily service and protection provided to West Valley communities and neighborhoods: Officer Appreciation Day.
During the 2023 Officer Appreciation Day, you can say “Thanks” and show your support and gratitude with your donations of Food (from Restaurants, not homemade), Dessert and Beverages(non-alcoholic) to allow us to serve Lunch and Dinner to over 250 officers and
staff on this special day. All meals will be served at the West Valley LAPD Community station at 19020 Vanowen St, Reseda CA. Covid-19 protocols (as applicable) will be followed to assure continued safety for all.
Please Join in on the Celebration. Donate food, participate as a meal server, or just stop by to smile and say “Hi” and “Thanks”. Donations will be accepted from residents, businesses, City Council offices, Neighborhood Councils, and Chambers of Commerce in the West Valley
Area. This year, the West Valley Area LAPD Community Police Advisory Board (C-PAB) will host this great event. Look for C-PAB members and Volunteers who will contact you in person to arrange for donation and/or pickup of your contribution.
