Local Community Members receive awards at Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel’s 5th Annual Valley Community Leadership Awards Ceremony
On November 6th, CA State Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel of the 46th Assembly District honored several local community leaders at his 5th Annual Valley Community Leadership Awards Ceremony. For the past 4 years, local community members have been recognized and received awards for their outstanding community work and contributions to our Valley Community. Selected 2025 honorees were recognized as: Nonprofit of the Year, Woman of the Year, Public Service Heroes, Community Activist of the year, Healthcare Heroes, Educator of the Year, Community Advocate of the Year, Businessperson of the year, Mentor of the Year, Community Leader of the Year, Inclusion Champion of the Year, and Inspiration of the year.
For 2025, Lake Balboa Neighborhood Council 1st VP James Brown, was recognized and honored as a Community Advocate of the Year.
