Councilwoman Nury Martinez's office conducted a mini-clean up on Friday, May 25 along Haskell Ave. between Victory and Haynes. Lauren Padick, Field Deputy for Lake Balboa, organized the clean up along with help from around 20 volunteers from the LA Conservation Corps and the neighborhood. Their hard work led to the removal of 20 bags of trash filled with litter and weeds that were obstructing the beautiful murals that line this path. We are very excited to once again be able to enjoy this stunning stretch of artwork.
